Write A List
If you have a blog or website, you bet we’ll give full credit and link back to you. It’s the least we can do to show our appreciation.
Despite the fact we’re cool guys and gals, we do take quality seriously! Any list submitted to Top10BUZZ.com must follow these guidelines:
1. Every list should have 10 items. We only publish top 10 lists. Heck, even these guidelines are… 10! 2. Content needs to be original. Do not copy other websites. Plagiarism is also not to be tolerated.3. Your list must be of at least 800 words.
4. Format your list with descending numbers. From 10 to 1.
5. Your list must be backed up with evidence. Some matters will need more evidence than others. To give you an example, the Top 10 Richest People on Earth is not a matter of opinion while the Top 10 Best Birthday Cakes certainly is. Matters requiring evidence will need you to research a bit more in which case you’ll have to submit your sources (along with the list itself) for us to give credit to prior to publishing your top 10 list. 6. Lists must be appropriate for all audiences, all ages. That being said we also ask list writers for clarity and good readability. All sentences must make sense. Try to avoid using difficult, scientific words if possible. 7. All lists should have an introduction. Describe your subject in about 100-200 words. Each of the 10 items should follow up with a short, 100-120 word description. Try answering who did what, how, why, where and when… 8. We love weird, bizarre stuff. We would very much like to see your list going that direction! The more odd the list, the better! 9. Do not submit lists that may be considered to advertise or promote products or services. 10. Do not submit lists with content extensively similar to that already published.
You may include images and video locations for your top 10 lists. However, this is not required – we can add media to your list ourselves.
When you mail us your list, include your name and your website’s link (if you have one) so that we can give you credit and link back to you. If you don’t have a website, you may want to consider sending us a short bio. We can also link to your Facebook profile or page or even your Twitter account. Just let just know what you feel comfortable with.
Submission Rules
By submitting your list, you agree that Top10BUZZ.com has the right to either publish or refuse to publish your list without prior notice. You agree that you are the author of the list submitted. If your list is published on Top10BUZZ.com, you agree that Top10BUZZ.com and it’s representatives become the sole owners of all copyright, publishing rights and all other rights related to the content of the list. As the author, you agree that you are not allowed to post the same list anywhere else without granted specific permission from Top10BUZZ.com representatives.
